Hi

                Very cool! Even accepts external tile sources. I guess adding some drawing tools should be fairly straightforward. Looks like more details by March 21st.

                I imagine this is the license for VE API 2.0 http://www.microsoft.com/virtualearth/product/terms.html

                At $8k per year minimum entry, I’m curious about the 8 tile per transaction pricing for a real app.  8000000 tiles per year => 22000 tiles per day but that isn’t a great number of tiles when a single zoom from space to rooftop runs 540 tiles. That would mean only 40 zooms a day!

                DeepEarth/OSM is still a nice alternative for low entry apps.
