Panning across large areas of the map

Pretty slick way to go from one place to another programmatically. Could use this for routes with waypoints or a list of favorite place.

Hi,

                Interesting! Although the leap frog is still a vertigo experience. I wonder how it would play on the big screen?

                I also noticed that lutzg isn’t messing with all the VE token stuff? Don’t think that it’s kosher but it is interesting.

This is great!  Really shows off why Deep Zoom is such a great UX.

@rkgeorge - accessing the tiles that way is against Virtual Earth's terms of service.

Yes I know.

I was just interested in the public class VEHybrid : MultiScaleTileSource that  Lutz Gerhard was using. I guess a privilege of working at MS is direct tile access.

Apparently working at Microsoft doesn't mean knowing that the web service SDK was released last September. Always a good day when you can teach someone at Microsoft something new. BTW, when you reply to Codeplex messages through email can you not include the original message? The mail gateway is not stripping it out before showing it in the forum.
